The AAIP is Alberta’s nomination program. It includes worker streams (such as Alberta Opportunity Stream and Alberta Express Entry Stream) and separate entrepreneur streams.

- Workers living/working in Alberta or with eligible job offers (stream-dependent)
- Express Entry candidates aligned with Alberta priorities (by invitation/selection)
- Entrepreneurs planning to start/buy a business in Alberta
Typical pathway steps
- Confirm AAIP stream eligibility (worker vs entrepreneur)
- Submit EOI/application as the stream requires
- If nominated, apply for PR via IRCC
