At Mubeen Migration, our culture is shaped by core values that guide everything we do.
Confirm if you need a TRV and the correct purpose (visitor, business visitor, super visa, transit).
Prepare a clear travel/study/work plan and match every document to it.
Provide financial evidence and explain the source of funds clearly.
For Study Permit extensions, apply early—IRCC advises at least 30 days before expiry (expiry is often program length + 90 days).
For PGWP, check eligibility rules and timelines (including the 180-day application window after completion).
For work permits, confirm if it’s employer-specific (often LMIA-related) or LMIA-exempt under the International Mobility Program (IMP).
What is a Visitor Visa (TRV)?
A TRV (visitor visa) is placed in your passport to show you meet requirements to travel to Canada; it can be issued as single or multiple entry and may be valid up to 10 years (or until passport/biometrics expiry).
What is a Super Visa?
A Super Visa is for eligible parents/grandparents to visit children/grandchildren in Canada and can allow stays of up to 5 years at a time, with multiple entries up to 10 years.
Are business visitors allowed without a work permit?
Business visitors typically don’t need a work permit, but must show their main income and business remain outside Canada; some activities may require a work permit.
What is a transit visa?
A transit visa allows travel through a Canadian airport for up to 48 hours (1 or 2 entries depending on travel plans).
Is Student Direct Stream (SDS) still available?
No—IRCC ended SDS on November 8, 2024; eligible applicants now use the standard study permit process.
Any key recent PGWP changes?
IRCC notes PGWP eligibility changed and most applicants applying on/after Nov 1, 2024 must provide language test proof (with limited exceptions).
